Iron man 2020 the once vastly superior and ridiculously powerful armor from the then future year of 2020, since this suit debuted in 1984. And Tony is not one in the suit, it's the direct descendant of Morgan Stark, Tony's cousin. And his name is Arno Stark and he wasn't a nice guy. This was the Iron Man 2020 that I am familiar with. But in recent years, since 2020 is no longer the future, Arno has been retconned as Tony's long lost brother and supposedly smarter than him. Now on to the review.
The figure
The base body of the figure is based on the 80th anniversary classic Iron Man armor. It follows the popular color scheme of red and gold. The new body is slightly larger than the previous ML bodies and feels very solid. IM 2020 wears a harness/armor piece on top of the regular armor that looks like gear/sprocket on the shoulder section and an extra attachment over the RT NODE (arc reactor for you MCU only fanboys/girls). There's also a gold floaty belt piece that has what looks like a gear and somekind of saw blade on either side.
The Head sculpt
Since 2020 is supposed to be a bad guy, his helmet reflects this. It looks meaner and more menacing. You can see his eyes through the eye slits.
Accessories
IM 2020 comes with quite a few accessories and extra bits. Comes with repulsor hands, punchy hands, 2 repulsor beams, 2 flame effects for the boots and 2 "whooshing" effects that act as a stand when you plug in the jet flames.
The Jet flame effects can also be used as repulsor blasts as well. If you want the higher output look for your blasts.
Conclusion
My IM 2020's right leg broke in box and it took a harrowing repair experience to repair it. For more details read about it here : Broken Iron Man
Other than that, the figure is actually pretty awesome. Amazing sculpt, effect parts and its feels big and beefy. Plus if you're a fan of Iron Man, you need to get this. I give it
