Iron Man, Shellhead, the golden avenger. Whatever you call him he is one of the most iconic superheroes and for someone that read the comics and watched the cartoons in the 90s, this armor was the one that comes to mind when you mention Iron man. So lets get cracking.
The Figure
The figure stands at roughly 6.5 inches and I just gotta say, this Iron man is for the lack of a better word "MY IRON MAN". 1994 Comic and animated Iron Man. The paint on my copy is near perfect with very minor imperfections, like the small dot of gold on the right shoulder pad. but other than that the red the gold, its all there. There might also be some reuse of parts here from other figures but there a plenty of new parts as well molded for this figure.
Accessories
Iron Man comes with very little in way of accessories. He only comes with 2 energy effects that can be plugged in on his palm or his boots and an extra set of punchy hands.
Nothing you haven't seen before and its becoming standard fare for most Marvel Legends these days.
Articulation
Poseability on this figure is pretty good and as much as I would expect from a guy wearing a form fitting power armor. Don't expect to do anything crazy like Spider Man but it is good. The usual ball jointed head, swivel on the neck piece, shoulders, ab crunch, waist twist, hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and elbows, swivel and hinge on the wrist, calf swivel and ankle pivot. Its all there. Interesting point to note is that his repulsor shooting hands have an articulated hinge instead of being stuck in one position. Being one of the more recent releases, it also features pinless joints and quite a number of new articulation points.
Conclusion
Solid figure, solid paint, must have for any 90s Iron man fans or fans in general. Nothing to watch out for as nothing feels overly fragile. Only the accessories count hurts it a bit. But overall I give it a 8.5/10
