Enter the first ever "NEW" toy review for the blog. And this entry comes in the form of the Eaglemoss Official Star trek  Starship collection. Bought this a few years back during the Star Trek phase of my life.  This by far is my favorite version of the Enterprise D and my fave version of the Enterprise. The detail on this tiny thing is amazing to say the least, it is a good representation of what I saw on screen on those years ago from the final episode of the final episode of TNG.

This version of the Enterprise came from an alternate anti time (read sci fi BS to get away with stuff) future timeline. The ship is now under the Command of Admiral Riker (yes he actually made it that far in this timeline) and comes with a few upgrades, like being able to go to warp 13 (and voyager said warp 10 is the theoretical limit aka infinite speed. Oh Plot weaknesses), the ability to cloak, quad phaser cannons and a gigantic phaser lance than can pierce shields like it's not even there.

Side note, the ship is also available in the game Star Trek Online. Just in case you were wondering :P

Construction of the ship is good, with the saucer section being diecast metal and the rest of the ship done in plastic. And it comes with a display base as well. Now normally the ship comes with a magazine (pictured below) with the tech specs and history or the ship, who designed it etc

I got mine loose with a few other ships. It was like Rm150 for 6 ships, which was a steal.

So would I recommend this line? Well if you're a trekkie or a fan of spaceships in general, this is definitely a good line to get into. Grab it if you can find it.
