Rainforest World Music Festival 2022

RWMF - After 2 years of not having a proper festival due to the pandemic, this amazing event is finally back. The sights and sounds of a festival, I forgot how it felt, the adrenaline, the excitement, the dancing, the rain, the MUD omg the MUD! 

The festival ran for 3 days, from the 17-19th June 2022, it was full of activities, from craft bazaars, workshops with living legends, mini concerts and of course the main event, the night concerts. 

Workshops

The workshops consist of dancing, drumming, sape (Native Guitar) and many more. Participation from the festival goers was amazing. It's a nice way to experience other cultures and traditions. 

Concerts

The concert at night was definitely a sight to behold, the crowd chanted, sang and dance in unison to the music. According to my sources they actually managed to hit 12,000 people total for all 3 days for the festival. With the 2nd day being the most packed at around 6000 ish. Not bad for a post pandemic festival. 

Conclusion

I had a lot of fun, here's hoping for the next one to be even more awesome. So if you're ever down in Sarawak next year, come and check out the festival.
