LOOSE JOINTS - A sad reality for collectors no matter what action figure/robot you collect. Especially with terrible QC from manufacturers. For a time transformers had an entire run where the bots would have loose joints (looking at you POTP Rodimus). But loose joints doesn't come from bad QC alone, regular play and age also takes its toll on your beloved robots. There have been many ways to fix loose joins, ranging from super glue, clear nail polish, floor polish, tape etc but all those just items just happen to be able to fix loose joints. But they were not specifically made for it, it just so happens the nature of the products were beneficial to fixing them. But alas some of these, especially super glue can be quite messy and could possibly damage your figure.
Upon a recommendation I got from someone in a transformers group, I decided to take the plunge and give a product called KIKI a try. Ordered in online via Shoppee and it arrived a few days later. The product comes with a very thin precision nozzle for those hard to reach places on your figure. They also give you a pin to put into the nozzle so it doesn't get clogged up when the product dries.
Application is simple, just use the precision nozzle to aim the product into the general area of the troublesome joint and squeeze slightly. A little bit is more than enough, move the joint around so that it seeps into the joint and then leave it for a few hours. You can already see results within the 1st hour but 6hrs is recommended for maximum effect.
Here are some pics of bots from my collection that had issues standing, holding weapons or generally just flop around.
