COSMOS - He didn't appear much in the G1 cartoons. All I remember about him is that he's a flying saucer, he has a funny accent and that he crashes a lot despite his bio saying he's quite a competent flier. So according to his wiki, he's the Autobots communications guy and he stayed in orbit a majority of the time relaying info to the Autobots and also being their communications satellite. Now on to the review

 Vehicle Mode

His vehicle mode is inspired by 1950's UFO design. And while its not as sleek, cool, edgy or futuristic looking like other sci fi vehicles, him being a flying saucer is part of his charm. and its very G1, so that makes me happy :D

Robot Mode

For me , robot mode is where Cosmos shines the most. Just looking at him I see the character from the cartoon. This is without a doubt the Cosmos of my childhood. Articulation is great and he can do poses that belies his chubby proportions. The colors are all accurate or close enough to G1. No complaints here at all.

Accessories

Cosmos doesn’t come with much. Just his gun and a Race flag since this wave of legacy focuses on the race planet Speedia. So he’s a little light in this dept.

Conclusion

Overall this release surprised me.  The engineering is involved yet not totally complex, complicated and cancerous until it makes you wanna rage quit. Its actually fun to transform him over and over again. It hits the nostalgia buttons correctly with modern day engineering. Great poseability and if you have one of those tamashi stands, his posing options are endless. Get him if you can. 9/10
