WRECK GARR - The leader of a race of junk based transformers from the planet Junkion (I know, how original, but hey it was the 80s). They first appeared in the transformers movie from 1986. They were instrumental in helping the Autobots survive the whole ordeal of being nearly annihilated by the Decepticons.
The Box
The box looks nice enough with very striking artwork of Wreck Garr in front with the Transformers the movie logo. And the back has the product shot. Window display that shows off the robot inside clearly.
The Accessories
Wreck Garr comes with 1 thing. That's his spinning axe blade. I won't count the tyres as accessories even though you can use them as his shield. Very light in this dept, but you can store it at the back of his vehicle mode.
Robot Mode
Its fun as hell. This is pretty much how I would have envisioned a damn near perfect Junkion. He is posable as all hell, can hold a high kick pose and can do a super hero landing. Oh also...NIPPLE LASERS!!!!
Vehicle Mode
Wreck Garr transforms into a motorcycle that looks like it was ripped from the movie itself. The NIPPLE LASERS are now lasers for the front of the bike. His head has the speedometer, he has a kick stand to stabilize him and if you have any deluxe class transformers, or marvel legends, they can actually ride him.
Conclusion
This is my 2nd transformers after years of stopping. The other being Shattered Glass Jetfire (which I have yet to review coz i'm wating for a few upgrade kits to arrive). I gotta say I thoroughly enjoy this transformer, its fun to play with, and its a perfect rendition of the 86 movie look. There is an upgrade kit that can make it even more complete I guess. That kit has an exhaust pipe that in turn will become an extended handle for his axe and a gun. But he is fine as is and you don't really need it. Final word? GET IT!!!
