G1 Bumblebee Reissue
Toyline : Transformers
By : Hasbro
Released : 2017
Price : I honestly don't remember but I'm guessing Rm30 during a sale.
Bumblebee, in the G1 continuity he was the spy and scout for the Autobots. His presence wasn't that strong in G1, being the car for Spike Witwicky throughout the series. In recent years, his newer incarnations have received an upgrade in the badass dept. But today it's the G1 version that I'll talk about. The reissue to be exact.
The figure
Bee comes in his classic colors of yellow and black and the autobot logo on his chest. The only difference between the original and the reissue is that Bee's face on the reissue looks like his G1 cartoon counterpart, while the original has his diaclone/Goldbug face as shown on the box art.
Transformation is simplistic due to in part it being a minibot. It has rubber tyres and rolls well enough. Doesn't come with anything else.
Conclusion
Its a G1 toy, based on the technology of the 80s. So don't expect any fancy articulation and modern engineering. But what it is, is a figure for the ones that remember how much joy it brought them back in the 80s or never had the chance to own it back then. Granted that particular demographic are in their late 30s and 40s now but hey whatever makes you happy right? 7/10 (because nostalgia)
