Yeah ladies and gentlemen the Ultimate Haul for me this December has to be this guy, my fave character from Kamen Rider Ryuki. I mean Seriously this is how batman would look like if he were a rider :P Pic reviews will come when I have time.

Transformers Universe 2.0 Legends Starscream

Got this guy loose at a shop here. I am quite amazed at the little guy, it's not super detailed or anything but a nice little toy to have. And yes it was cheap :P Check out the pics: Jet mode:
From the looks of it it's actually a repaint of Cybertron/Galaxy Force Thunder Cracker. Not that I mind, since I never had the original release of this mold. Now on to the robot mode. Robot Mode:
In robot mode this figure looks nice but don't expect too much from articulation. It has a whopping FOUR points of articulation on the shoulders and hips.Five if you count the gun joint. Conclusion If you can find it for RM12 or below GET it. If not give it a pass, for fleet builders you can have an army of these :D

Yes pretty sad looking. This is after almost a decade of loyal service. Now meet new wallet:
New shiny and good to go for another 10 years :P Adios, Goodbye and Be good!!!

Christmas Presents :D

Yes yes I know, the blog hasn't been concentrating on the "TOY" part for quite sometime. But this is due to my obligations in real life, you know parties, concerts, trance music etc etc you know how it is. But worry not, I have new additions to my collection which actually falls under act 23 (a) of my quitting collecting actively which is, I can only buy stuff on special occasions. And when time permits I will take pics of them and do a full on review. Something which I have not done for a very long time. Well here are the new additions :
I was very happy to get these guys at a decent and non scalping price. Yes they are still a wee bit pricey compared to retail price but I have seen people charging in excess of 600 for these 2. So getting them at the price I did was a a good deal.
Next up is KAIXA from Kamen Rider Faiz. Kaixa here is my fave character from that series, being a devil may care badass and all. Compared to Kaixa, the main hero for faiz is a wuss. So I believe I will review him along with my Faiz Blaster form that I got ages ago
Last but not least, is Ultraman Gaia V2 with the bonus effect part! I may have grown up with Ultraman Jack but somehow the 3 next gen Ultramen e.g Tiga, Gaia and Dyna just had a certain je ne sais quoi to them. I finally got my hands on Gaia and who knows I might stop here or I might proceed to get the rest. So long as it doesn't clash with Act 23 (a). So there you have it, a little assurance that "HOUSE OF TOY PORN" is still doing TOY PORN along with other types of non sexual porn :P. See you guys when I see you.

Car Battery Charger

Car battery died today due to my own carelessness (left the headlights on the whole day) Finally got home after a colleague helped me charge my car battery with a jumper cable. That gave me enough power to reach home. And of course when I told my friend about it, she happily lent me her car battery charger. I seriously had no idea these things existed, I thought such equipment would only exist int he realm of car repair shops, but she had one lying around the house.
So according to her, I need to charge it for 10 hours. Let's hope it works, if not I have to ask someone to send me to work tomorrow.

RESTAURANT : FULLHOUSE

On the way to pay my phone bills at the Hills Mall, I saw the lot thatt used to belong to Merrybrown occupied by another eatery. Curiosity got the better of me and I decided to try out this new place that took the name of the very famous American or Korean tv series, depending on which pop culture you fancy. So here's what I think; Presentation : MIND BLASTING, TOP CLASS. The whole garden concept really impressed me and the mini that is "parked" on the lawn was the one that made me come in to try the place out. The maid waitresses would appeal to otaku's with a maid fetish and the managers are pretty cute themselves :P So in this dept they kick ass right off the bat.Their menu is a combination of a catalog, comic and the menu itself, pretty creative I must say.
Service : The service was a little slow and the crew were a bit blur when I was there. But I'll let this slide because the cafe/restaurant is only few days old and that's hardly enough time to work out the kinks in the service dept. Food Quality : The food presentation is pretty good. It's pretty much what you'd expect from a fusion style eatery. It exudes class and sophistication and all that other good stuff. BUT that's where the awesomeness ends. The way the food looks may be nice but the overall taste is quite lacking, not to say that it's horrible, far from it but the food still needs a little work. The breaded fried fish with Wasabi dip that I had was hard in some places and quite dry. The juiciness was just not there, but it was still passable and the wasabi dip made up for it somewhat but at that quality it does not warrant the RM16.90 price tag. The drinks that my friends and I ordered had this weird chemical after taste to it but it was still ok to my taste buds. My friends were not so agreeable on this matter. The mushroom soup while nice was very pricy for the fact that it was served inside what looks like a coffee cup. And for RM8.90 it was really expensive for the portion that you were getting.
Conclusion Will I come back? Maybe, but only IF they step up on their QC and knock down the price a bit. If they still insist on charging that much for the food, then the food better be a life changing experience the next time I drop by, which would probably me months later.
